"Vanishing Point" and "Smokey And The Bandit".

Two of the coolest car movies in the world, IMO...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

IMO, Mad Max 3 doesn't really count as a car movie...

Vanishing Point for sure. The movie Dazed and Confused wasen't a full blown car movie, but it had some kick ass cars in it.

                  Best car sitcom...Knight Rider

When I saw this thread...I immediately though Bullitt...classic freakin' movie...

That fucking scene through the cornfield was outstanding...

                      Steve McQueen was the man...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

Okay, Smokey and the Bandit and Bullit I'll agree to. Just to mix things up a bit, since no one has mentioned it yet, how about Christine? The car that wouldn't die!!! I love how that 30-something "high-schooler" with the ham hocks gets his ass kicked by that car!
