he was in another band later called The Style Council. Neither were huge in the US, really.

The Jam weren't - they just had real lyrics and could really play, unlike most punks.

I'd rather remember Weller with the Jam than in that clip with her daughter, however pretty she is.

And The Jam for the most part did suck.
