    Intel i5



    Looking to buy a new laptop today since my old one is well, it kicks ass. Anyway anyone know shit about the Intel i5 (Ivy Bridge CPU)? It has to be better than those piece of shit AMD "processors" (which well be well for most of you and your porn watching/endless masturbating). Looking to spend @$700-$800 - and no fucking pretentious Starbucks-fronting Mac Books - with a 17" monitor screen plus another $200 for software mumbo-jumbo. Need something reliable to run Excel speadsheets with no fucking hang ups.

    So anyone of you - or should I say, any one of you with a god damn job use an i5 Intel?

      I use them in my Macs and I hate Starbucks. Cut back on the weed and get a MacBook Air. You can download the iWork apps. They're only $20 and can open/save as any Office format.
      Take 5 min and check them out before firing back about how elitist they are.

          I will never buy a god damn Mac. Pretentious pieces of shit every one of them - much like an AMD processor. I'm more interested in the i5 speed and ability to handle graphics (no gaming, no porn). Doesn't not matter much what the fuck I buy between brands - Toshitba, HP, Dell, (well, Toshitba is definitely Rethuglicon) - they are all the same except for a few bells and whistles so, again, it comes down to the god damn processor.

          Mac Air Seriously dude, seek therapy for your mid life crisis.

                          Dell is more Republican than Toshiba. Their CEO was a close personal friend of the Chimp. And not that it matters so much with laptops, but their desktops are proprietary crap that's not compatible with anything else. Kinda like Macs in that respect, actually (but not as good)

                                              The only problem with my Mac is the screen is so fucking huge.

                                              I have noticed that just about every function in a Mac is one less keystroke than windows. Anyways, I use both.

                                                  I personally don't do graphics but my friends that are graphics art designers all swear by the Mac. Have you tried one????

                                                      I have a 27" iMac with another 27" screen next to it at work. Can't have enough real estate! At home I use a 27" iMac and 13" MacBook Air. It's sad, just.. So sad.
