In Sen. David Vitter's (R-LA) book, conservative billionaire brothers David and Charles Koch are some of the most "patriotic Americans" in the history of the planet.

Vitter made the comments during a March 18 town hall at Blanchard Elementary School in Blanchard, Louisiana.

"I think the Koch Brothers are two of the most patriotic Americans in the history of the Earth," Vitter said. That line sparked applause from the audience.

Later on during the town hall, Vitter heaped some more praise on the Koch brothers, which again, sparked applause.

"Maybe this is a good example because I'll be honest with you, God Bless the Koch brothers," Vitter added. "They're fighting for our freedoms."

I don't think most the people even know who the Koch brothers are. We were kicking back with the neighbors drinking beer and shooting the gab. The wife has her PHD in psychology and she refuses to have a television in the home. She is convinced whatever you put on that medium shapes society and she has great concern that all the media companies have been bought up by the same interests.

She said all you have to do to shape society today is control the media and the education and you can have any type of society you want. I think she's right. If you want to sink the Koch brothers you need to expose them on a mass scale. Not just on a few liberal media sites. If you look at our media it's polarized between right and left. It's like an engine. Each side opposes each other but propels the agenda forward. Oddly enough Obama seems to be pro Iran for whatever reason. He sure was gung ho about doing Syria, seems to care nothing about bombing Pakistan. He's pretty much has a neo-con foreign policy but not to the levels of McCain.
