Went and saw Whiplash tonight.
Wow, what a great movie. Two excellent performances (one reminiscent of the Gunney in "Full Metal Jacket"). Looks like the kid did a lot of his own drumming.
If you get a chance, see this. It has been a long time since I was in a theater where people stood and applauded at the end of the film.
