I have a copy of this , Paul Gilbert is an interesting musician. Very talented in my humble opinion.

Yeah, I think he's great although I don't own anything he's ever released...

I think he's a really good teacher and technician, but a little sterile when he's not shredding...

I sure don't like his bass playing or his drum machining on this album...

And the song selection sucks...

I keep expecting to hear a Hagar song...

The slow acoustic melodic stuff is the better material on this album...

PG's got a great sense of humor. Shows in some of his lyrics.

We went to one of his clinics, just after he left Mr. Big. He played through a couple Laney stacks to backing tracks on an ADAT. Did a cool version of Benny and the Jets and some of his King Of Clubs CD.
