Predict what the next Rothshow will be about...

Now this should be good, remember it will probably be filtered with some shit you heard before and then something strange that Dave might think he can make cool till about after a minute into it and he starts going off on tangents

I say Dave goes from Monster Trucks to Riceburner motorcycles and then goes off on a tangent about fucking Godzilla monster movies and how the Persians once tried to invade the Japanese coastline with an armada which was sunk the by a typhoon (Divine Wind and assorted nuances only Red Bull and cocaine can afford) and then talk about some imaginary Asian girl he had the hots for while playing the Bee Gees in the background

My honorable mention would be a long drawn out history on drive through movies and Japanese Kabuki theatre and shit and why he makes these over the top expressions on stage to register because dogs have eyebrows and it is ancient Japanese procedure for emotive objectives while he plays European dance music with the treble all the way up while he talks about bass soundtracks from an obscure movie from Finland and how the Germans where after the director whose friend was Jewish and in exile in the great World War

It'll be 20 minutes of meth inspired rambling about taking the Monster truck through the drive-thru at the local taco bueno with his slice of Americana blaring out of the boom box... plus a whole new series of dance moves inspired by his vast collection of Village People ho-down dance tunes...

Maybe Dave can film his interview segments outdoors in his Unabomber-style compound somewhere out in the wilds of Montana, with sheep dogs running in and out of frame, so at least we can have some decent scenery to look at while Doddering Uncle Roth bloviates for the umpteen millionth time about his perceptions of the music business as it was thirty years ago between bouts of self-induced laughter at his own brand of wisdom and wit.

So, you weren't bullshitting, after all. You DO pay attention to Dave's ramblings.

That sounds like a Dave stream of consciousness, all right.

All it needs is to be punctuated by his laughter & a couple of rehashed 50 year old witticisms to pad the length to 20 minutes, et voilà.

            The Roth Show, February 2016.

I got it... he is going to do comic book heroes because that just fits into the whole "I used to watch Saturday morning cartoons" and then he will remind us again how early cartoons where for adults and the old quote of his that also goes something like "if you are not careful you will start acting like a cartoon character to please the public because people come to expect a certain character" while he interconnects some kind of Hong Kong espresso machine he bought in Hong Kong while getting a special canoe built for the Amazon which was never used and he will then discuss custom offices around the globe which made him leave tons of stuff behind in this run on sentence style
