They are trolling their fan base and it works views goes up, people talk, etc... The 2015 plans were suppose to be a surprise but they screwed it up and leaked it. I think it is a stupid strategy but it has been the way they operated.

Yeah I kinda doubt it, seein as how their "fan base" consists of a couple hundred people stretched across a couple boards. The rest are casual fans at best and don't keep up with what's going on with VH throughout the decades like we do.
