Ex-Wham singer George Michael dies

Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.

The star, who launched his career with Wham in the 1980s and later continued his success as a solo performer, is said to have "passed away peacefully at home".

Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.

Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.

As if that damn song wasn't already depressing enough. Now the guy up and dies on Xmas. Yeah, it sounds like he "gave it to someone special" alright.... the angel of death.

I definitely was not into his shit with Wham(even though Deadpool apparently is) but his solo career had some good stuff you would listen to and never admit.

I have never really enjoyed any of his music at all ,not my cup of tea and find the gay icon label being thrown about as disingenuous considering he tried to hide it for so long.
Saying that someone dying so young isn't great and am sure his music made lots of people happy.
