Well Sam will supposedly step aside while this tour happens and much like what Kiss did for their first farewell tour. He promised me it was true or he was getting a kick in the balls!

Have heard that three demo tracks were put down, but it's doubtful they'll ever be released. Statements from Roth and EVH seem to confirm that much.
