OK, so now that there's 20 or so declared candidates in the clown bus, who would you vote for if the election were today?

Since the forum software limits the choices to 10, I chose the half of the candidates more likely to still be around by the time of the Iowa caucus.

And since this vote doesn't actually count in the election, all of you foreigners & undocumented aliens are welcome to vote in the poll too!

The Dems will throw Bernie under the bus again. The establishment wants Biden but it looks like Biden has problems because he slurs his speech. Probably a result of having a stroke. No excitement behind Biden either but the big money doesn't want Bernie because they can't control him. Bernie won't get past the super delegates and they will give the nomination to someone else. If anything it will be more evidence of what a staged game party politics is. You can vote for whatever candidate the party chooses even if the person that got the shaft was more popular with the public.

Vote for clowns. Expect a circus. I've pretty much given up on it. I really have no say in it anyways. I don't live in a swing state. We will just get another clown and business will go on as usual. More partisan fighting. More scandals. We will keep running the debt up until we eventually default on the interest payments and someone will wag the dog by starting more wars.

It's a no brainer. Bernie Sanders generates a lot of excitement and raises a lot of grass roots level money. The problem is he can't get on all the county ballots as an independent and he can't get passed the corrupt Democrat Party and their rigged super delegate system if he runs as a Democrat. Bernie is fucked no matter how popular he is or how much money he has and amazingly neither him or his supporters threw much of a shit fit when he got screwed last time. So I think Bernie will just make a lot of money campaigning and he can enjoy being a millionaire with some extra cash dumped in. He can buy a better sports car and maybe add on to the houses he owns.

Bernie is actually a pretty good capitalist. Bernie's money won't trickle down either unless it's to car dealers, realtors or home contractors. Haha!

What I don’t understand is how Democrat voters can be so naive as to believe that Bernie could get any of his policies through congress.

Three Democrat senators voted to appoint Barr - think about that....

Obviously some of the fake "Democrats" would have to be replaced (like AOC replaced that piece of shit Crowley in 2018) and also the admitted Republicans would need to be voted out of office.

Bernie is also the best candidate to make that easier, as he would bring the millions of voters to the polls who didn't bother to show up for the Hobson's choice of Hillary vs Cheeto in 2016.

No one candidate is going to do it all, obviously. Not Bernie, not Elizabeth Warren, and certainly not Biden or any of the other 17 wannabes. But at least with Sanders or Warren - and definitely if they were both on the ticket - you would have a massive turnout which would also help any other candidates on that ballot in House & Senate races..... provided those candidates were also worth voting for.

It's all rhetoric. Everyone get's their money from the same source. Both Democrats and Republicans support the military industrial complex. The rhetoric differs but they are all bought off by the same sources. If you can't be controlled they do everything possible to undermine your chances of winning an election. You get ahead in Washington DC by pandering and being dependent. You don't go very far if you are independent.

Ralph Nader saw the problem a long time ago. He proved you can't win as an independent. He spent a fortune and had a pretty impressive operation going county to county trying to get him on all the ballots. It's time consuming and costs a fortune. The Democrat Party have the super delegates you have to get past. The Republicans have their own hurdles. I don't think much is going to change. Plus people stay in the congress for 30 years. Nobody seems to get voted out. Most people hate politics. They don't want to hear about it or talk about it and most people don't bother to vote and those who do vote a party line usually.

Not defending Bernard, but many who weren't looking closely thought Barr had the taint of credibility. Until they read Nixon's ex-Attorney General's 1990's op-ed where he calls out Barr as a massive cocksucking dipshit that believes the US Executive Branch should essentially be an untouchable dictatorship of Happy Meal & diet coke swelling fucktards...

Half assed poll... literally. Change the board config so you can have 25 choices. I don't see anyone on the list making a serious run at the presidency... It's just too many players and not a single one of them has any sort of vision, messaging or platform foundation that isn't more fluid than a bucket of puke!

Bernie is the only one that's held any sort consistency in his platform and message... unfortunately he stood up well mostly with younger voters in 2016 as a counter only to Clinton. The demographic that pushed him into contention has more appealing options at the moment over a 70+ year old, Washington establishment insider, millionaire who's bashing of billionaires is looking pretty lame.

Do you people get the same script? You all respond the same.

I predicted Trump would win. He did. I predicted the Mueller investigation would end up being nothing. That happened.

My next prediction. Biden is the Democrat candidate of choice of the big money. Bernie Sanders is the Democrat candidate of choice of the regular people. Bernie won’t get the nomination and Biden is showing signs of old age or maybe health problems. He’s a weak candidate. The Democrat Party will not give the nomination to Bernie. The Democrat Party is fragmented right now and the Republican Party is not.

There is a very high probability Trump will get a second term.

Ha! Ha! Pretty much. Bernie still has his disciples and he’s the messiah though. He seems quite proud he’s a millionaire now.

Bernie's not the Messiah. But he is a Jewish ex-carpenter Democratic Socialist, just like the Messiah was. So I understand the confusion.
