Doel doesn't appear to be that good of a speaker or commentator. He spent most of his time acting perplexed rather than give us his opinions and comments. He also doesn't appear to be very insightful, either, lacking understanding that these time honored labels of Republican and Democrat mean nothing. They're all the same, and no matter which politician is currently holding office, you can expect pretty much the same overall outcome. It's all the same team; they just speak certain platitudes and talking points to get people riled up and upset so it looks like two opposing teams. And seeking military leaders to speak is not new. Pres. Obama and Gen. Powell were good friends and Powell often stuck up for Obama. Doel's only example of a Republican appearing at the Democratic convention is Kasich, yet he's going into hyperbole as if the DNC is allowing the Republicans to take over the convention and kick out AOC. Doel appears to be a very weak political commentator attempting to make more of a story than there really is. You bring in Kasich and any sorta Republican military leader in hopes of peeling off Trump voter support, and you suppress AOC because she makes unpredictable waves and doesn't stick to the script. Very poor reporting.
