This 50th-Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray dropped just the other day.

It contains a blu-ray of the US Theatrical release at 104 minutes long.....

But it also contains a 2nd disc which is the 114 minute long International Release.

Since the rest of the world has a sane view of nudity and sexuality, I want to see Sara's boobies. :D

But it also brings to mind.....Clint saved her fucking ass.

She should have knelt down right then and there and sucked his dick.

Not only that, but after a nice long, drooling blow job, she should BEG him to fuck her. Possibly even give her some back door action.

She OWES him.

Same for all of them.

When the hero saves some woman's life, not ONLY in the movies, but in real life, the woman should at least offer herself to her Savior.

If she looks like a wretched old troll, then that gives the hero grounds to just be "polite".

"Well, thank you, but it's ok....REALLY....".

But hey, dude saved her fucking ass. She should offer a blow job at the very LEAST!

Thus endeth the review.

:lmao:

At least after he saved her ass, they took the time for publicity photos. :D

We have a Universal Blu-ray set of tons of Clint films (and a huge Warners collection too). TOO MULES is in there...it's one of just a few Clint films I haven't seen (though I still haven't seen AMERICAN SNIPER because I worry that it's just a Republican patriot propaganda piece, but I could be wrong).

I wonder if the version in my set is the 104-minute or 114-minute cut. I'm presuming its the shorter cut.

We had five custom-built cabinets built in the basement when we built the screening area for the projector. So, we have lots of room for new Blu-rays and 4Ks now...but I'm still hesitating before re-buying any films. I'm a horror freak, so any time Shout (Scream) Factory re-releases a title that was previously a bare-bones studio release, I usually jump on that. I loved the new FRIDAY THE 13TH set (a real 3D Part 3, for one...and tons of other stuff).

I presume I should do an initial watch of TWO MULES before deciding if I like it enough for a re-watch.

HARDROCK, what's your favorite film of his Universal period?

JOE KIDD is under-rated...it's not his best film, but it's a really fun Western that never gets mentioned much. THE BEGUILED is a very strong film. I have a vague memory of talking to POJO and MAX about this film (and Clint) a lot. Being the horror nut I am, I think it's a bit of a travesty that more people don't talk about PLAY MISTY FOR ME. It's a truly frightening film. FATAL ATTRACTION was fine for what it was, but it was essentially a complete rip-off of this film (though it added the family element, which was very strong...and, I think, sold more tickets because it allowed a lot of people to identify with the characters more).

Never saw Two Mules, either,

American Sniper was so-so.

So I checked out the 114 minute international cut.

I think I noticed a few spots where there was footage I never saw before, and scenes that had a bit more dialogue.

Nothing you could immediately spot as a deleted scene or anything. Dammit. No Shirley Maclaine boobies. :headscratch:

One thing I noticed this time around that I never paid attention to before in 40+ years of watching it.....the cinematography is really great. Especially the wide open shots....they filmed in an area of Mexico where you can often see a couple of volcanoes in the background. The film is shot very well.

High Plains Drifter is my favorite Universal picture.

It is actually one of my fave overall Clint films.

I have seen it so many times it is unreal. Hundreds of times easy.

One of those films that is just perfect.
