    KICKASS BAND! My Latest Discovery - NINGEN ISU

    To my shock and amazement, I found out this band has existed for over 30 fucking years!

    And they are GREAT!!

    The bassist and guitarists are both college-educated, and their lyrical and subject matter reflects that.

    They were like this well-kept secret in Japan, and they started showing up on the international scene 7 or 8 years ago.

    I never even heard of them until the other night.

    What if you took a couple of samurai out of Feudal-era Japan, gave them a bass and a guitar and said "Go to work, chaps!"?

    They share vocals, and the drummer kicks fucking ass also!

    This is just one of MANY videos on the net of this amazing band.

              Great sound. Kinda like Sabbath meets early Metallica with maybe a tiny bit of Rush thrown in. And you gotta respect a metal band that can pull off an 11 minute song!

                  It was difficult, but I managed to track down a live bluray they released in 2018. 2 months shipping time to get from Japan to here. Region free bluray.

                  Their merch is not global. You can find a single design of t-shirt on Amazon. Pretty much all you can get of theirs easily are CDs if you are not in Japan.

                  I am so jaded I do not impress easily anymore, but these guys impress the fuck out of me.
