There is nothing wrong with Dave's voice or his attitude. He is the ultimate front man, and he didn't sing one bit better in 1980 than he does now. We're getting old, not Dave.

Righteous. Now what was I saying? Oh yeah, I remember.

What else would you expect Diamond Dave to become as he grows older? You think he's going to turn into our parents? No, he's going to keep moving forward. He didn't get onstage with Van Halen because he was ordinary like you and me. He's a rock star.

Let's realize that Dave is one of very few REAL rock stars that lived long enough for us for us to watch them grow old.
