Pelosi is a piece of work. Not the worst Democrat - that would go to the most intolerable Schiff, this handpicked POS, Maxine Watters, Buttigieg, Any of the Squad of course (although they are at least entertaining), Newsom, and Mayorkas of course.

Nancy should be the spokes person for a line of vodka.

I find turtle boy McConnell more annoying. Nancy’s father was a Baltimore mobster. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. McConnell is just a cuck with a Chinese fist up his ass. Nancy threatens to kick peoples asses and even shared how to perform some dirty political tricks to the public. Learned nothing from Mitch. Learned how to fuck people over from Nancy.

It seems wrong that a guy from such a small state and so not that many votes has so much power...

So like the Sharon Osbourne of US politics? :)

I would say that’s a pretty good comparison but Nancy and her husband are more savvy at insider trading and making money. Nobody gets in trouble for it so the whole Congress is in on that game. They put on the pro-wrestling show and inside trade and nobody is going after anyone because everyone has dirt on everyone else. It’s showbiz so again Sharon Osbourne would be right at home and heck Ozzy wouldn’t be any worse than some of the people in the Congress.

In the US Senate each state has two senators. Originally the state legislatures used to appoint the senators but the constitution was amended so the public votes on who the senators are going to be. The Senate in its original concept was where each state was represented in the federal government.

The people are represented in The House of Representatives. If your state has a bigger population then you have more house reps. The public has always elected their house reps.

The US Senate was more like the House of Lords where Senators were appointed. The House of Representatives is more like The House of Commons where the people are represented by elected representatives.
