Always thought that it was a bit of a pity that wasn't a longer interview.

The REAL pity was when he started singing…..perhaps the most sad period in his life….thirst for the spotlight at any cost…..

It's difficult to think of anything less cool than being a Sammy fucking Hagar troll at this point. :D :D :D

"Hey Colin have you cleaned up aisle 3 someone was sick earlier?"

"Yeah boss it's sorted"

"Good work Colin, how was your weekend."

"It was cool I posted some stuff on the Dave Lee Roth forum saying I didn't think he was good when got older".

"That's fucking awesome Colin but I thought you were a big fan of that mediocre singer Simon Hagar?"..

"It's not Simon, it's Sammy"

"Whatever why would you even do that? The whole world is out there, what about your incel forum how is that going?"

"Not so good..."

Thing of it is, who cares anymore one way or the other?

Someone thinking Roth is shit and preferring Hagar doesn't faze me in the least. It's not 1985 anymore. Or 1996. Or 2006. Or 2015.

After that 2015 tour when rumors of a kitchen sink reunion were on, I didn't give a shit if Hagar rejoined the group. Honestly wouldn't have cared if the Van Halens started working with Anthony and Hagar at that point. Roth's last, best stint was in 2007/2008. By the ADKOT tour, the dude couldn't pull his weight onstage anymore vocally. Once Roth's voice was finally shot to shit, who cared if the CVH reunion happened at that point? That'd be like getting back together with your high school girlfriend after 40 years apart when your cock no longer works: pointless.

Not many but it's all over and done. Van Hagar music hasn't aged well at all and the bookmark ending of Roth returning to the band before Ed's death has made Hagar an unfortunate footnote in the history of the band,

Hagar knows this and it bugs the hell out of him which is becoming a mixture of cringe and a bit funny at this point, The interweb being such a big place means statistically even a bozo like Hagar still has a dummy in his corner in the same way there is no sexual fetish no matter how crazy vile or inexplicable that you can think of will have it's own web presence somewhere... :D

It's occurred to me that there is maybe a 1% chance that Heater's real name is Colin. If this has happened can I say it's just a coincidence and you are not being stalked. :D

Reminds me of the scene in Pulp Fiction where Mr. Wallace says if you think your career is going to age like fine wine it ain’t. Take the money and quit while you are ahead.

I never liked Jump and a blue grass version with Dave trying to sing is absolutely ass blasting nauseating.

Didn't (and still don't) much care for Van Halen's Jump, much less a bluegrass version of it.

Thought the 2003 Diamond Dave release was bunk.

I don't even have anything negative to say about people who like Sammy Hagar anymore. It's not my job or business to tell people they are wrong for liking him or shouldn't be listening to him...why would I care one way or the other?

Showing up on any website devoted to a particular celebrity when one doesn't like the celebrity at all, seems a weird waste of time. Then again, that's trolling for you. I mean, by all means be critical, but if one has no use for, say, like...I have no use for Marvel Comic Book Movies. No desire to watch them. I'm not gonna run all over the net posting how I think they all suck or whatever. I'd just as soon sit on my back porch, stare out into space and daydream than I would telling strangers on the net how I don't like something.

I like communicating with you guys here, but if I'm watching youtube (which is what I tend to watch rather than tv these days) and see a video I don't like. I don't even bother giving it a thumbs down or whatever.

Sam left the band in 1996.

He did, what, the one tour and the three new tracks in 2003/2004. That whole experience was pretty fucked up and miserable according to Hagar. So, Sam spent a total of one (bad) year with Eddie in the last roughly quarter-century before Eddie died. And they exchanged a couple of social media messages and some phone calls in the year before Eddie passed away. Apparently Hagar's last year in the band in the 1990s wasn't pleasant, either.

Doesn't sound like a great or close relationship to me. Doubtless a shame from Hagar's perspective, because for most of his time in Van Halen in the 1980s and early 1990s he had a good relationship with the brothers. But it turned sour.

The thing that kinda irked me is how Hagar AND Wolfgang ran off at the mouth to the press how a proposed Eddie tribute concert not happening wasn't their fault. Then, I realized that I really didn't want to see a proposed Eddie tribute concert anyway. So, if Dave was to blame for said concert not coming to pass, I guess that's one more thing I'd like to thank Dave for along with all the great CVH memories.

I've suspected for a long time there has been people who stumbled across the various DLR and VH forums who liked a song or three from these associated artists but were more attracted to the bullshit and psychotic human interaction within these web universes far more than their interest or devotion to the artists...

This site in particular has a rich history of celebrating among the immoral majority..?

Alex won’t talk to me. Cries Sammy. I want a Van Halen reunion to promote my booze and clubs with. I need another Ferrari.

Sammy is a STD from a vile sex act that came to life. He’s the Heat Miser of urinary tract burn. Whenever some poor schmuck pees he let’s out a Sammy scream.

“Hey Sheesh, how’s it going?”

“Great, just great, I’m a webMASTER of a David Lee Roth fanboy site, it’s awesome”.

“Good for you, it must be so cool having a job you love so much you would do it for free.”

“Um, I do do it for free, it’s not my job but it IS my job, if you know what I mean.”

“Oh, wow….David Lee Roth , that’s the guy who spent the last 25 years singing ‘ Jump’, right?”

“Yeah, he probably reads some of my posts a lot, it’s almost like we are buds.”

“Well, don’t let me keep you, it sounds like that takes up a lot of your time”.

“Oh, it does, but man is it worth it. It’s pretty stellar”.

“Stellar?”

“Yeah, that’s a word me and Dave use. He and I have so much I’m common, neither one of us have a girlfriend or are married.”

“Bye, Sheesh.”

“Bye”.

Weak? Childish, perhaps.
