Anyway.. Brian's playing has really improved alot. He's no Edward but he's playing classic Van Halen alot cleaner than he used to. Brian is a choppy player and he lacks the flair that Edward has that makes his lines seem to melt together...
Asa far as playing the Vai stuff.. Brian really shows his limitations... Nuff said without sounding mean...

Actually for some reason it never sounded that great live even with Vai.
