    Clear Channel's Clearing House

    Yesterday Clear Channel fired Tommy Smith, a local morning show DJ who is hugely popular and a local legend, for undisclosed reasons. They actually fired the 2 sidekicks as well. Tommy's always been outspoken and made his reputation for their wild show way before CC came in and bought the station a few years ago. He's hated the corp. side of what radio has become and was due to retire soon. CC is rumored to be cleaning up their stations to avoid more Howard Stern-like fines.

    Just wondered if this is happening in any of the other local markets?

          Nope, he was a staunch Republican who hated Bill and Hillary. There goes that conspiracy theory, but nice try!

              Those CCC/CCE fuckers own 75% or more of every Radio station & concert venue, and they also are the main campaign funding source for none of than GEORGE W. BUSH. Who by the way is the boss of colin Powell who is the father of MICHAEL POWELL who is head of the FCC, who by the way levied the largest fine ever at Howard Stern, not for content of his show, but for comments critical of GEORGE W. BUSH.

              There is much more at play with this CCC/CCE topic than most are aware of
