Something Interesting Happened Today...

I was cruising through the AM channels looking for something to listen to (talk-wise, I don't hardly bother with FM anymore) and I came across some station playing "It's About Time".

Struck me odd that I'd actually HEAR it on the radio at all, so I admit, I listened for a brief second...imagine my joy when the DJ finally said "Piss on this" and the next thing I heard was "Unchained" starting up.

Yet another vote...read 'em and weep...

Looks to be in good shape to me. Seriously, those songs are so BAD that if somebody actually walked up to me on the street and handed me $20 with explicit instructions to "Go buy BOBW", I would buy as many Roth era VH discs as I could and then go donate them to the pawn shop so that the younger generation may yet be influenced.

Now that's community action at work!

After all, I already own all the real Van Halen albums, anyway.

I'd be happy to introduce classic VH to the younger generation. My daughter loves Dave and hates Hagar and I didn't have to force one opinion or another on her, just gave her 1984 and 5150 to listen to, and the rest was history.

Nah, I probably wouldn't. I have well over 1500 CDs already (some of which I actually BOUGHT, believe it or not!!), so I have to be space-conservative when I consider new purchases. When I already own 95% of the material on a 2 CD set, I can't justify having it.
