Man: "Well, I know I've paid my ten bucks but I'm not an idiot, I won't do it. You have to be nuts to drink a gallon of pepper tequila and then get crazier from there...

Bartender: "Your call. But your money stays in the jar."

Well, as time goes on and the man drinks a few, he asks, "Wherez zat teeqeelah?" He grabs the gallon of tequila with both hands, and downs it with a big slurp. Tears are streaming down his cheeks but he does not make a face... Next he staggers out back and soon all the people inside hear a huge scuffle going on. They hear barking, screams, yelps and growling, and eventually silence.

We actually do OK down here for live bands, it's alive and well in Melbourne.

Where I live the only live bands we get any more are hispanic... its getting to the point even the Mexicans don't like to go to them...

We get a great diversity of rock/metal/dj/jazz/blues/acoustic etc, just depends on your mood, all within probably 30 mins radius of the City Centre.

Off the top of my head we probably have close to 60-80 bands playing every Friday, Saturday night. And you can find a gig somewhere pretty much every night.

If it was just one genre I think we'd all be getting a bit sick of it too.

I love Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. I also like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. The Cider Jack is good. I like Guinness. Or if Dark beer is not your thing Amstel Light.

You might like the blueberry ones. I can not think of a brand other than Wachusett but I think they are a local microbrew here.
