Nomah's opening with the Cubs...and Maddux gunning for number 300 for the same team that he got #1 with...

Once he gets it...there aren't many more that are even close...and after that...then what?

Have we seen the last group of 300 game winners?

Looking at that list...I see a bunch of outside possibilities...

Glavine needs 40ish...don't see it happening...

Randy needs 60ish...see it happening before Glavine...but c'mon...how long can this guy do it?

Mussina...I'd have said was a lock before this year...no way...

Brown...no...

Pedro?...if he was healthy...no doubt...

God...that's an unimpressive group...

If the Mets hadn't been so bad the last couple of years, Glavine could've made it, but now I don't know. Johnson is too old IMO. Only one on that list I could see making it is Mussina, and it would be tough.

After Maddox, it's going to be a long time before it happens again.

This club is getting more exclusive by the season.

Interesting.

Pedro has got a great record, and is still relatively young, but who knows how many starts are left in him?

I just can't see Pedro putting together a second half of his career like his first...

especially since he has trouble getting through the 7th inning...

Maddux down 2-0 in the third...

Nomah..0-1

Not against the Phils, Maddux! He is getting a no-decision in today's game.

Only guy out of the group with a shot at 300 is Glavine...and that's a long shot, to boot.

May never again see a 300 game winner after Maddux with the advent of all the bullpen slots. Starters aim to go 6 and then bail and hand it over to the pen...too many decisions then go to a reliever.

Yeah...it's interesting to see how the arms are goin' here...

we may be coming to starters going for five innings...middle specialists...and closers...

to bad...

we may have seen the last 300 game winner for many...many...years...
