On that fateful day in Dallas with everything happening so fast -- someone had to give the Dallas PD a description of Oswald-- Since Lee Harvey was "alone" on the 6th floor and was actually passed in the lunchroom by the Dallas PD-- WHERE IN THE HELL DID THE DESCRIPTION COME FROM? FORD--

Actually, nobody gave the Dallas PD a description of Oswald in direct relation to the JFK assassination. Oswald wasn't even arrested for JFK's murder, but rather for the murder of Dallas police officer JD Tippit.

Oswald's arrest for that crime came from the testimony of one witness, a shoe store clerk named Johnny Brewer. Brewer had heard the policeman was shot (unrelated to the JFK hit) and believed Oswald was acting suspicious, so he followed Oswald to a movie theater, where the Dallas PD arrested him.

Here's Brewer's statement to the police

Oswald denied shooting anybody, but he was armed with a pistol when arrested.

Not that being armed is unusual in Texas. of course.
