'KKK' Byrd's Attack on Martin Luther King Jr.

In reviewing the documentary "Citizen King," the Wall Street Journal's formidable Dorothy Rabinowitz refers to the inclusion of footage from 1968 featuring Democrat Sen. Robert "KKK" Robert Byrd.

And what did America's most famous former Klansman make of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.? About what you'd expect.

The film clip shows Byrd urging "well-meaning Negro leaders" to reconsider King, "who was, he explained, a coward who got other people into trouble."

It sure is a good thing for Byrd, though not America, that he's a Democrat. A Republican would have been destroyed decades ago for his countless idiotic comments.

Wow, the CIA journal bashes Byrd with statements he made decades ago. How shocking

Don't suppose there are any quotes in there from Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, Lester Maddox, etc. ?

And if there were, neither the CIA journal or NewsHax would ever print it.

And does it make Byrd any less offensive?

I won't make any apologies for anything Byrd said in the distant past. But that's not what bothers you guys. It's the fact that Byrd has been one of the few in the Senate with tha balls (or backbone, by Cathedral's own definition) to stand up to that unelected shit for brains in the White House and call his fraudlent fascist agenda out for what it truly is. Repeatedly. And since you can't refute what Byrd is saying NOW, you dwell on what he said a long time ago. That's lame.

Isn't true? Then why was Union Bank closed and its assets seized under the "Trading With The Enemy" act.?

Prescott funded Hitler. Why does that apply to Junior? Because the BCE family fortune began with that blood money.

Nope. I couldn't stand the rambling, old, racist bastard long before the Bush administration.
