    Do you realize....

that VHI and 1984 by themselves have practically sold as much as Van Hagar. No Van Hagar has sold 10 million copies nor will they ever.

As a matter of fact every Van Hagar release sold less than its predecessor. LOL!

          Hagar knows the truth

Hagar knows the real truth about which era sold what. And he also knows that when 5150 was released it only sold about HALF of what 1984 did. Trust me he knows. What he also knows is that sadly many people (including radio dj's and rock magazines) will not do the research. They hear that 5150 was VH's first album to chart at #1 and they automatically assume it was their biggest selling album. Like that stupid DJ at KLOS a few weeks ago. But Hagar himself knows which era sold more. And he knows VH were at their peak in 1984, and they NEVER reached it again with him at the helm. That is why he can not stand to do ROTH era material. Trust me.

Fucking Balance was a "number 1" album with its 3 million sold. Van Hagar got a lot more push by the record company and the radio and still couldn't live up the the Dave stuff. Where are all those "number 1" singles? I rarely hear When it's Love or Right Now, and never hear anything else.

                    JUMP

Actually Jump was VH's ONLY #1 SINGLE ON THE BILLBOARD CHART. It is also the ONLY SINGLE in VH's history to achieve gold status.

Because I felt like it. Technically, it's all VH. In reality, two different bands.
