Billboard Magazine August 14th issue. Green Bay WI was the ONLY show that made it into the BOXSCORE for VHagar. Here are the official numbers. 6,672 tickets were sold out of an available 10,535. Like I've repeatedly said, outside of really big cities/markets this tour just doesn't seem to be doing that well. And bands rely on these types of cities for a successful tour. Vhagar should have just booked about 25 cities that were really big and that's it. Instead they booked a massive tour thinking they would "sell out all over the place" as Hagar put it. Also something to note is that I've seen figures from pretty reputable sites like Melodicrock.com report that VHagar are getting in the range of a $750,000.00 guarantee per show (which is big people). If this is true then the promoters are LOSING money in a significant amount of these shows. And promoters WILL REMEMBER this if VHagar try to tour again. The GBay show above didn't come close to "recouping" this amount. No wonder there are already rumors of a rift between Hagar and EVH about the business the tour is doing. It seems as if they overshot the demand significantly.

There's no reason to believe that this tour will do better than the Balance tour. No press, no new album & it's nothing fresh. Also, the tickets are crazy expensive this time around, so that's kept some folks away. Whoever decided to sign the contact giving VH 750k a show is nuts too.

- there was not enough promotion
- the tix are too expensive
- we like the intimate shows
- The shows "were" soldout...

If it was the original band, word of mouth would have sold out
