The NEw Michael Moore Book Is A Piece Of Crap..

I consider myself more of a conservative than a liberal..
I have no clue what Michael Moore is.. (socialist?) but alot of his ideas are just pain "out There"
His book is very... very boring. Dude, Where's My Country?

At least Al Franken can write something interesting to read.
I would have never have bought this but it was given to me for XMAS and I gave it a read..

Anyways he brings up several points in it..
1. Thinks it would be a good idea for Oprah to run for president..
That one threw me for a loop..

It seems like the whole book is this big conspiracy theory.
Filled with exaggeration and outright fabrication
He has a theory about royals from Saudi Arabia being behind all of the attacks, and that Bush is trying to cover it up.
He has a nightmare about children digging for plastic in the year 2054 because there's no oil left


Anyways...
The only thing I agreed on that he brought up was. .. "We need to find out why millions of people.. on 3 continents are pissed at Isreal"
That was a good one.

If anyone has read this book let me know what you thought about it..

Absolutely. And there's a marked difference between Conservative author's work and Liberal's. A little thing called "truth".

Any of the Conservative authors Ford quotes have been dissected by liberal after liberal. None can counter the assertions made in their work.

Now, Liberals on the other hand... The really should be listed under "Fiction" in the book stores. They make shit up out of whole cloth. It's scary that no-brained students (and Ford) follow these works of fiction as gospel. The good thing is, most of these students will someday get good jobs, therefore they will start paying taxes... Then all of a sudden you've got a bunch of ex-liberals (I.E. Conservatives) on your hands. This is what scares most liberals, so they're doubling their efforts in targeting younger people with their indoctrination.

Oh, and Sarge, if you want to know why Israel is a target of hostility I can easily tell you.

Arab hatred actually has two phases... Ancient hatred and modern hatred. Ancient hatred is all in history books as well, and stems from the Quran.

About modern hatred from Arabs and Europeans? They are definitely linked. Arab hatred comes from their tyrant dictators and clerics enslaving entire nations to poverty (to afford lush palaces naturally...) while blaming the predicament on convenient scapegoats called Jews ("Even the Quran spells it all out, you know...") Why is it creaping into Europe you may ask? Well, simple immigration. Add voting blocks with Politicians... You get the picture (and that's what's really behind all of those French objections). I don't know why this is such a wonder to people really. Fixing the problem is a whole other issue of course, but I don't believe it includes blaming the victims here...
