neil is a most unassuming, gentle guy.
still cranking at 62, a fucking legend imo.
i grew up with his music, 'hot august night'
is in my top ten. one hundred and fifty five
million albums sold, people.
wrote forty top forty songs, including
some monkees hits.
the man is a god.
listening to him speak, i thought of dlr
more than once.

I have to laugh when I see a Neil Diamond thread. It has nothing to do with Neil Diamond of why I laugh. Then again...hehehe
Those who were hitchinites would remember a certain riddler™ that did a piece on a Neil Diamond thread that was a MASTERPIECE in such a HUGE way. Brings back a chuckle or two.

Anyrate, I liked a couple of his songs n' stuff. Crackin' Rose, Sweet Caroline, Forever in Blue Jeans ( I think that was the name of the song...)
