Found these while hunting on E-bay, and had to have a chuckle at what he's got written on them (quite apt I thought)

The donkey is actually a collective term for Van Hagar.

The Donkey is literally (and symbolically) the cheapest, simplest and slowest method to transport your goods. The poor would always use
this beast to carry a weight they couldnt carry themselves. I agree with
Reverberator, its a collective and descriptive term for Van Hagar.

Quite a relevant and apt description, too.

Makes perfect sense to me :)

Yeah bring that fucking donkey on Ed, hows the donkey doing so far ?? Carrying that weight ??

Listen to the wisdom of the Beatles, Ed, Abbey Road (Side two)

Boy, you got to carry that weight, carry that weight a long time !

Van Hagar maybe the simple beast to transport your weight for
the time being, but you are going to be carrying it again shortly ! :p
