Since the chance of Dave and the sisters getting back together seems to get slimmer every year, do you guys think a reunion of the 2nd greatest rock-n-roll band ever is a possiblity?

I'm sure Sheehan and Bissonette have nothing better going on, but Vai has a nice little operation for himself. It could give him a nice boost he hasn't had since the late 80's. When he went on his own, only the hardcore G3 crowd stayed with him. After his stint with Roth, he had all kinds of opportunities. Now it would be more of a fun thing, maybe a minitour. Seems more likely, but Dave seems to like his band now.

It would Rock Bro! I saw the EEAS tour in Ann Arbor back in the day, and it blew my FUCKING mind. Saw DAVE after seeing that HORRIBLE 5150 tour. DAVE came out, played CLASSIC VAN HALEN, and had the place TOTALY ENTHRALLED!!! Have an old boot video tape of the show!!!:D :killer: :killer: :killer: I throw it in once in a while to remind myself HOW KICK ASS the show was!!!!

DAVE OR THE GRAVE BABY!!!

Honestly I don't know if Vai really cares that much about being famous. Vai fans are usually male musicians and VERY dedicated. If he was he wouldn't write stuff that is so esoteric. In fact Steve makes the joke often that there aren't any women at his concerts, just guys.

Steve has a problem playing old van halen music. Since he is a famous guitarist he doesn't want to do anyone else music. That is pride for you. I understand him but that shouldnt make him not work with Dave. So Dave had a history and Vai has a history now. Make up a new band name and then rock n roll.

Billy Sheehan has an interview on his site and it said he has no intention...but now that mr big is done, maybe so.

You know, i bet vai is perfectly content right now.

Bissonette gives drum lessons and clinics...

Roth has his band.

I dont think the stars are lined up for this one...

I cant see this happening, as much as I would like it to.
I think out best hopes (if Van Halen never happens) is
another Kickass DLRBand Album.

My gut feeling is a real Van Halen reunion is more
likely.

Vai and Sheehan are already playing together. I don't think it is impossible.

Though Dave and Steve are friends, They don't work well together. There not from the same school of music.

Dave needs to find new talent and stop focusing on past glories and living off his old legacy. (make a new fucking record and actually play most of it live)

EEAS reunion? not going to happen.

Vai is too busy with his own career. I've never heard of any bad blood between DLR and Vai and I know he knew what he got himself into with the DLR gig. (playing VH tunes) He left the band because of a different musical direction not because he didnt want to play VH tunes.(they played more original material than VH tunes anyways)
