What would just as bizarre, would be the Cubs Playing a Canadian Team in Wrigley Field with "Oh Canada" preceding the Anthem....

I don't think it was that dirty or that he intended to injure Tejada. Tejada should have known Utley would try to break up the double play and acted accordingly. He shouldn't have made that pirouette move to throw to first. If you watch the replay Utley looked like he was trying to touch the bag so he wouldn't be called for interference but he pulled back his hand as he collided with Tejada. If you're a Met fan you're gonna call it dirty but Dodger fans are going to say it was just aggressive base running.

Utley didn't start his slide until after he was past the bag and never hit the ground before hitting Tejada. Utley 2 years ago knocked Tejada out of a game doing a comprable play but Tejada was in the base path, he did the turn so he was outside the base path this time and Utley made no effort to touch the bag as he slid after the bag. Utley has a history of dirty play. It was not a take out slide it at the base it was a tackle off the base. But I am total Met homer

Game 5 should be great w Greinke and Degrom. Kershaw was a beast last night with his command of the curve.

Utley didn't start his slide until after he was past the bag and never hit the ground before hitting Tejada.

He started the slide a little late but not past the bag. If Tejada hadn't totally ignored Utley coming towards second and jumped up like other infielders have done thousands and thousands of times before he's still be on the roster instead of the injured list. Here's the replay.

He went in there with intent to break up the double play and got the job done. If the broken leg was on the other team you'd be saying the same thing I'm saying now. It's clearer that he began the slide even with the base from the last angle.
