I've totally loved the Olympics .. I was dreading it before it started .I thought here we go we're going do it our usual half arsed style and look like total amateurs.
We haven't it's been well organised and above all fun.
The spectators have been great all the international athletes have said that even when gb athletes wernt involved the crowds have been fantastic .
I've enjoyed sports I never in a million years thought I would.
Visitors have been saying how friendly and helpful we are and I genuinely think that in certain sections of the country this has given people a bit of boost .
Yeah I get it's not everyone's cup of tea but , what is .
Overall I think it's been a great couple of weeks and it truly has been a festival of sport.

Right I can now get back to my usual cynical self

Hell, every post I've made here in the last three weeks have been made with my left hand. It's impressive, but at the same time, I can't wait for the Olympics to be over, so I could get feeling in my right hand and start typing posts with both.....at this point, I'm fuckin' chaffed!
