I believe you're right about the date, Cato. I missed Dave in Brussels at that time, as I was a student in Lille (Northern France), just because... I was bloody broke! Aerosmith came at the same peiod, but not seeing DLR for dough reasons really pissed me off. And "A little ain't enough" smashed up my mind then, and uh... it still does today. Sure, I've got each and every recording he's made with "correct" VH and solo, plus a few bootlegs, but I'll tell you this: even if that man started playing old-time country or... French accordion street musette, I would stay on board his boat because, hey, you all know why!

PS: Damned! these boobs are terrific! Gosh! Now I'm squinting.

So, let's put it this way: if anyone here can contact Dave himself, tell him he's GOTTA set a French stage on fire again this year. Yesterday I saw a very recent performance of his with his band playing "Mean Street", and well, it seems goddamn worth it!
After all, there may be some reason for David's so long absence.
Does anybody know about any? Has he been boycotting France?

After all, I guess I might as well fly from Geneva to London as there's a very good airline that offers low-price return tickets for week-end flights.
Anyway, if anyone knows about any cause for Dave's long-time jumping over Froggies...

And 5 points to you too, DLR 78-84. There's just a little detail: "Lance" is no French first name. It may become one because of American cycling laboratory Armstrong's popularity.

    Thanks again, man! Cool site.
And... Woooow!! She is beautiful! (I'm talking 'bout the yankee rose!) Looking forward to being in summer, coz here in the French Alps, as it's bloody freezing, French and Swiss chicks won't let any of their body parts show, safe their noses.

Thanks for the good mark too. Well, considering your rank, I guess it'll look like a drop in Lake Geneva, but at all events here is a 5-point one for you.

Many thanks to you, Carmine! I got lucky because I hadn't chosen the right forum (it may have unwillingly made the thread more obvious).

    "Merci encore"

Hello you all real stuff lovers!
Hey, I think Diamond Dave hasn't come back to Paris since... 1992!!! Does anybody here in Davespace if it's worth expecting him back soon? In other words, is his tour already scheduled, and if it is, does a French date figure in it?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

PS: I've been waiting for 20 years too, like everybody else who's aware of what music can be at its best, but I just can't wait any longer, I really gotta see Mister Performer Number One on stage, and quick.
    Thanks for your help.
Working...
