        No torrents. Practice Practice Practice.

Dont watch history, create something new that doesn't suck.

but if you're getting all those effects to make bad grunge, then
go to jamtothis.com and check the tutorial.

then download Largo 82 and wonder what the FUCK happened to hard rock.
Ed's best moves on the fretboard. on video

practicing is better and don't ask for tab anymore.

Yeah, at least Eyes, unlike you, realizes what REAL copies of shows are.

Your collection sucks, and is infested with mp3 and digital errors.

don't you know I have lots recordings on DAT?

I used to trade in DAT when I was a snob like you. but I'm not doing that any longer because it costs.

hey just curious, how many DAT recorders do you have? I have only 2.

Reading Lou's rants inspired me to finally get started in this.
I really have no business commenting on it because I'm real new to it myself.
I had a couple stumbling blocks but it's going well now.
There's lots of good knowlegable folks around that will help .

hey just curious, how many DAT recorders do you have? I have only 2.
I don't have any DAT recorders. Sadly, just a whole SHITLOAD of 1st generation tape transfers, done straight from 1st gen tapes to a standalone CD burner. I hope that meets your standards, you clown. DAT isn't necessary anymore anyway with CD burning unless you're taping shows, which I'm not because there's nothing worth seeing anymore.

By the way, I don't see "DAT" anywhere on your site. I did a search for it, and it's not there. So how would I know that you have anything on DAT? Don't you think it'd make sense to put that in the lineage of the shows you have?

Then again, there is no lineage on your site, mostly those shit-ass titles that come from high generation tapes, and probably mp3'd and digital error filled.

Let me break the news to you, looking at your site here:

                  There is no Cleveland 5/27/81 (it's 8/2/81)
There is no Hampton 10/31/82 (this was some shitty incomplete version of Montreal 10/27/82 that was intentionally mislabeled Hampton '82)
There is no Cleveland 8/3/81 (the date is STILL 8/2/81)
                  There's no LA 7/10/82 (it's 9/10/82)
The correct date of the Largo, MD video is 10/12/82 (10/11 was the night before and is only available as an audience recording)
There's no Dallas 7/18/84 (correct date is 7/16/84)
There's no New York City 4/28/79, nor is there any other New York 1979 show available. There's NYC 4/28/78...big difference.
There's no Nashville 11/13/78 (correct date is 11/19/78)
There's no Cambrai 10/10/78 (correct date is 10/20/78)
There's no Pasadena 2/8/78 (correct date is 2/18/77)
                  There's no Fresno 1/28/78 (there's only one Fresno show in 1978 that's circulating, and it's 9/22/78)
"12/20/77" has long been corrected, the real date is 10/15/77
                  There is no "1/18/77," period.

Cincinnati 8/29/81 should be 100 minutes long, not 1 CD. Looks like you have an inferior one of those too.

Finally, I'd bet $100 that your Philly 8/29/78 and Chicago 3/13/84 are mp3 sourced unless you know for a fact who transferred the tapes.

What this boils down to is that you're putting out crap, you have a lot of crap, it's time to really get with the program here, move into the 21st century, and stop spreading mp3.

                    how ignorant.
DAT is still necessary as the best audio media. you would never know how it sounds. much better than CD. and it's not only a format to record the show. you'll be surprised at the quality if you heard it with a tube amp.

                    >I don't see "DAT" anywhere on your site. I did a search for it, and it's not there. So how would I know that you have anything on DAT?

my DAT list was there years ago. I dropped it when I stopped DAT trading. you only missed it.

OK, here's a pic of my SONY-A8, I just took it for you paranoia.
                    another one is under repair.

and the tapes. hey don't ask me to post more. that's a waste of time.

btw, I have never checked out your list because I'm not interested in that and yourself.
I've never talked to you from me first, haven't I?

Once you get the hang of it, there's no going back to mp3. There is SO much high quality stuff out there.

In the last year and a half ive gotten 72 Classic Van Halen audio shows and/or demo/rehearsals, and 8 CVH DVD concerts/compilations. Mostly thanks to Lou, but all thanks to Bit Torrenting.

Yeah I did, it's a stupid reason. It doesn't cost anything to transfer those DATs to PC or to a CDR and then to PC, and torrent them.

You SHOULD look at my list, I guarantee I have a bunch of shows that you either don't have, or have but in shitty form.
