Converting DVD: Pal to NTSC

I bought this awesome KISS DVD from a guy in Germany. It's from the 1999 Psycho circus tour. Perfect quality, pro shot, many angles. Problem is it is in pal format. I do not know how to convert. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this? I'll share...

TMPGenc is GRATE, but it's toooooooooooooooo slow. it takes 6 hours to convert a 1 hour mpeg on my PC. is there any faster one?

I haven't tried this new version, but an earlier version was the fastest I had tried.

My understanding is that if you want to encode faster, specific hardware for encoding is what you need.

All are slow, but I found myself using TMPGEnc because of the results.

I notice this trial download leaves watermarks on encoded product...

An easier way is to buy Alcohol 120%

This program allows you to create virtual drives and then assign regions to them.

So, in your case you would be watching your dvd as soon as it was on your hard drive.

borrow a dvd player that converts it automatically. alot of dvd players do this. infact all of mine do. most pioneers do.
