i might have some shitty tascam porta-02 4 track
recording.

because of his ferverant denials of it's current whereabouts.

i never learned it on guitar.
and it's been a decade since i last sang it.
ram it down is an overlooked and underrated Judas Priest album, IMO.
i always liked blood red skies........
in mad hatter we used to do "between the hammer and the anvil" and "nightcrawler.
we tried "painkiller" but mr. tone-deaf guitar player, daryl larson,
could not get it right, so it was abandoned.
we did manage "living after midnight", "you've got another thing coming",
and of course "breakin' the law".

i actually disagree on this one song.
"fight or die" was actually "sneakin' around" backwards, with a couple minor additions and
a different title and lyrics.
john did the bass track, i did the vocal and drum tracks......then we waited for daryl to get there.
this was before henry joined the band, so mid to late 2000.
anyway, daryl eventually got there.
john and i hatched the surprise on him.
he got his job done on the 3rd or 4th pass.
a few minor overdubs were done.

darly later said, when it was said and done,
that it was "the hardest thing he'd ever played",
and also added that "he hated recording that song so much that he would never,
ever play that fucking song again".
that's pretty sad since it's probably one of the best things any of us had ever done.
