OK, firstly, can't take the late great Freddie Mercury out for 2 reasons and replace him with EVH and Dave for a number of reasons

1) Dave can't sing like Freddie
2) Nobody can replace Freddie
3) EVH isn't a classically trained pianist
4) Dave/EVH can't write something like Bohemian Rhapsody
5), and possibly the most important reason

THIS IS A LIST FOR DEAD PEOPLE.

Freddie Mercury is a whole lot better than Axl. In under 20 years he released 15 Queen studio albums, recorded a number of singles under the name Larry Laurex, Recorded with Spanish oprea star Monerrat Cabble, innovated the modern music video, wrote the UKs favourite single, released the 'Mr Bad Guy' album, and when he was slowly dying of AIDs, he was writing and recording music. I think even the week before he died, when he couldn't even stand up because he was so ill, he was recording Queen's 'Made In Heaven' album.

What has Axl sone in almost the same amount of time?

ONE good album called 'Apetite For Destruction', An EP called 'Lies', an album of covers and a 2 disc set that bores me, a prog fan, to death. If it bores a prog fan-that proves the shitness of the 'Use Your Illusion' albums. Plus, he has spent the last 10 years making an album which will probably be shit anyway. Not to mention the fact that Freddie never stormed off stage during a gig because someone took a picture, Freddie never decided not to go on stage 5 minutes before showtime and never cancelled tours half way through because he couldn't be bothered.

All that, plus the fact that Freddie was a big influence on AXL.

Plus they'll stop liking him when they see the fat tub of dreadlocked wigga lard he is now. The fact that anyone who can worship someone who couldn't have been more disrespectful to his fans had he walked out on stage with a loaded uzi and fired on the audience baffles me.

I heartily agree with everything you have just said (But I thought Ed WAS a trained pianist, excuse me if I am mistaken). There is abosolutly NO POSSIBLE WAY IN HELL that you can listen to Freddie Mercury sing and not be amazed. The guy was so talented it's almost like he wasn't of this earth. If you're stupid enough to dismiss him as a "faggot" then thats very sad, as you are missing out on one of the most supremely talented musicians to ever grace the rock world.
