My big 3 favorite bands have always been Van Halen, Rush and Ozzy. Over the years it's only Rush that haven't gone down a lot in my estimation as people but the music remains.

Also, when Rush finally packed it in as a live act, they did so on their terms and while they were still able to perform about as well as they ever did as a live act. In other words, they went out on top with class. Unlike Ozzy, who has been doddering around like a befuddled geezer onstage for twenty years. Or Roth, who was performing adequately for his age on the last two Van Halen Mach 4 tours but obviously (and understandably) nowhere near the level he was even in 2007, much less in the 1980's.
Yep, Rush exited the stage with their heads justifiably held high. I gather there is talk about Geddy and Alex going back out billed as Rush with a new drummer. Hopefully they don't. Rush is Lee, Alex and Peart.Scramby eggs and bacon.👍 1Comment
