    Gotta go with Ratt.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

        Ratt.

Great album. It was all downhill after Out of the Cellar, pity the production wasn't better though.

            "Defenders of the faith"

Could`ve been Priest`s best ever album if it wasn`t for that shitty production.

              Ratt?

              Beats Maiden?

              I think not.

                  Gotta second that one.....

On their second release, the band expands their sound while remaining loud and angry as Hell. Although this was also originally an indie release, it might have actually been more "radio friendly" than the major label successor, "Master of Puppets" was.

But of course radio didn't touch it. Aside from college radio anyway.

Scared the SHIT out of my parents with the beginning of this record. They thought they were hearing some nice mellow classical guitar shit with the beginning of "Fight Fire with Fire" and then about a minute into the the thing....... BOOOM like a goddamned nuclear detonator.

Probably my favorite Metallica album to this day.

I thought I was in a minority of folks that had "Ride The Lightning" as their favorite Metallica album! Most old Metallica fans list Puppets as their favorite, and I love that album as well, but I've always liked Lightning the best. Good to see I'm not the only one.
