True story......
This guy I went to high school with listened to all the same Christian rock that I did, including Stryper, the 77's, Petra, U2, etc. Even though he was a Reagan worshipping conservative, so we didn't agree on much of anything else.
His dad said that "Christian rock was about as logical as Christian prostitution."
What's even scarier is that this man actually became the superintendent of the school district a year or so after I graduated.

Stryper ist good. There is some okay Christian Rock out there. unfortunately just like there secular counterparts the Christian Music Industry only cares about pop and emo done for Jesus. P.O.D. is good too, I know they're kinda Nu Metal but I don't know they really grew on me, plus their cover of Bullet the Blue Sky Kicks ass!

Not sure about that, but the lyrics to their biggest hit could easily be interpreted as the viewpoint of someone who's looking forward to the End Times......
A woman on the radio talks about revolution
when it's already passed her by
but Bob Dylan didn't have this to sing about
you know it feels good to be alive
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up from history
I saw the decade in, when it seemed
the world could change at the blink of an eye
And if anything
then there's your sign of the times
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up from history
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be

I gotta tell ya, I liked this band. I went to see them in concert a long time ago too. Besides throwing bibles out in the audience and throwing a Jesus saves, etc.... in our face from time to time; it wasn't a bad concert.
