I agree in that Sam & Mike should stick to Van Hagar era songs. Leave the classics to Roth. But if Eddie had it his way, no one would be playing VH from any era. And that would be a damn shame.
Can't wait to see the full date list for Roth's summer tour. I have a feeling this will be his best effort in years.

I remember Mike singing Somebody Get Me A Doctor in 1998 and it sounded pretty good. Better than Cherone anyways. Mike's voice is a little high though. But his background vocals are key to CVH's sound.

its definitely acceptable that Mikey sings it. Even though they are doing mostly all Hagar era songs, you know the fans want to hear a classic because now mikey is there - - so you got half the band. I give sammy alot of credit for still kickin'. Voice is still there, plays guitar like a madman, and is all about the fans. Dave 'was' the the man but....voice is shot.....his ego...loses radio gig..so you know he has to tour now...
