I’m kinda enjoying Ace doing the I will show you! With his 10,000 volts album and tour. Not getting invited to the final show pissed him off and motivated him to get out and sell his own shit. Ace clearly has a beef with Paul. He seems to respect Gene. I guess the dirt Ace had on Paul is Paul was fucking his sister. That’s the rumor anyways.

I think whoever Peter's then-manager was had signed away Peter's rights to the licensing of the Catman character likeness even before the 1996 reunion took place...I wanna say it was part of a buy-out of Peter's 25% continued interest in the band, that being the upshot of Peter's departure in 1980, where even though after 1980 Peter wasn't playing on any albums or performing, he was still drawing a share equal to what Gene and Paul were (publishing excepted). At some point in the mid-1980's, a few years after Peter left, the band offered Peter a lump sum buy-out of whatever remaining financial interest he had in the band and the makeup rights reverting back to KISS were part of that. Peter claims he was unaware of the makeup rights at the time they were signed away. There's another story that Criss signed away the rights not in the 1980's but in 2004 when he left the group for good.
With Ace, there are stories and claims by Ace that he owns the rights and KISS pays him a fee to license the rights (along with a piece of the merchandising from the group) which are counterbalanced by stories and claims by Paul Stanley that the KISS organization owns all the likeness rights and Ace gets nothing from the band.Scramby eggs and bacon.👍 1Comment
