Not that I was a big fan but my dad used to play that Rockpile record over and over and I was just watching that dismal 'Spectacle' with Elvis Costello where he had Nick Lowe on and geesh I know we're all getting older but when did a underrated bass player/songwriter who loved Buddy Holly and Everly Brothers (and even played with Ry Cooder for fuck's sake) start to look like a (limey) politician?
But here's to a warm memory and I don't care if no one else approves.
