    Ironic that an American band, playing American rockabilly music had to go to the UK to get a record deal. But then... so did Hendrix (not rockabilly, but very American in his mix of influences)

        So hard to believe in any rockabilly revival back then, and at any time. No other band tried that, and all the more so succeeded.
        Arista had some flair and were aware of the Cats's value.

            That was indeed a great album. Probably one of the most overlooked albums of 2019.

                        Only you do know Setzer puts on a much better show than any Montrose cover band reunion ever could. (with a better guitar player, too)

                            If we are comparing 'boy ain't you got no barber in your town' then raped in a pickup parked at the back of the venue kind of music I like this guys soloing better.


                            Your guy is all about the A blues pentatonic which is fine but a little meh if you aren't just improvising.
