    Love And Rockets Reforms

Love and Rockets have announced their first tour in 14 years.

The trio of Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins will play a string of west coast concerts in May, beginning with an appearance at Los Angeles’ Cruel World Festival. They also have dates scheduled in Oakland, Salt Lake City, Portland, and Seattle.

Tickets to select dates go on sale Tuesday, March 14th via Ticketmaster.

Love and Rockets were formed in the aftermath of Bauhaus’ initial split in 1983. Bauhaus briefly reunited last year for their first North American tour in 16 years; however, the tour was cut short so that frontman Peter Murphy could enter rehab. With Ash, David J, and Haskins regrouping as Love and Rockets, Murphy will spend the coming months taking part in the “Celebrating David Bowie” tribute tour.

This, after Daniel Ash repeatedly said they would never reform much less tour ever, ever, EVER again. So fuck them. I guess with Peter Murphy backing out of the "reformed" Bauhaus tour it's starting to look like these asshats need the money. Plus only 4 shows? I'm sure more dates are to follow and *sigh* through TicketMasturbator so what else is new?

Check out this "Cruel World Tour":

May 20 at Brookside @ Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. This year's headliners are former Banshees leader Siouxsie and Iggy Pop, and the rest of the lineup includes Love and Rockets, Echo & The Bunnymen, Billy Idol, Adam Ant, The Human League, ABC, Molchat Doma, Gary Numan, Boy Harsher, Modern English, Gang of Four, Ela Minus, The Vapors, The Soft Moon, The Motels, Animotion, and more.

Eh, just call it the "Broke Ass 80s Nostalgia Tour"

And didn't Andy Gill of Gang of Four die a few years ago? Must be taken a page from the KISS playbook of how to use your fans as ATMs

Gang of Four was Andy Gill.

Saw them on Earth Sun Moon tour in '88. Mighty Lemon Drops opened.

Didn’t they have only 2 big hits, but one was an original. Ball of Confusion cover was trippy, refreshing for the time.
