Yeah, you may want to rethink that.
Compared to Trump/Biden, COVID and Ed Sheeran?

I wore Ray Bans and wore a Swatch in the 80’s. Ha! Ha! I’m proud to say I never owned a Members Only jacket.

I didn’t watch any of that shit. I watched Magnum PI after tennis practice and I would crash of the couch and watch pro wrestling on the Super Station after skiing all Saturday.

I was an 80's kid, but those examples you provided above are a reminder that hardly everything in the 1980's was worth nostalgizing (is that even a word) over.

A partial list of things I had no use for in the 1980's (and even less use for now):

    Alf
    Miami Vice
    The Cosby Show
    Family Ties
    Michael J. Fox
    Both of the Batemans
    Debbie Gibson
    Oliver North
    Warrant
    Winger
    Bon Jovi
    Acid wash jeans
    Gary Coleman
    Webster

But I had fun in the 80's.

Kristy you are looking at only the negatives

    what about…
    - VH at their greatest
    - Saturday morning cartoons
    - smaller population
    - cable TV and stealing cable service
    - MTV !
    - too young to join the military and get sent off to CIA missions to overthrow governments
    - Girls not too skinny, not too fat
    - bell bottom jeans
    - good country music
    - mullets
    - snowboarding did not exist
    - doorbell ditch without getting chased by maniacs with assault rifles
    - cars you could actually work on because they were all mechanical

I could go on but you just can’t relate

90s ! What a time to grow and be merry, probably the last great decade for the U.S. I think the boomers would agree. And Kristy was too young to be aware of the greatness, just fortunate enough to carry around Polly Pocket stuffed with Trolls and watch My So Called Life

by the way. I admit I watched my sol called life. And then one day it disappeared. I was like “who the hell is that cute girl? What happened?” Claire Danes. I lost track of her until Homeland debuted

but...but...but...Alex P. Republican Keaton was on drugs in the 80s.

    Your lame Boomer generation sucks.

    I was a 90s kid.

My So-Called Life is where its at. We gave up drugs for some serious over acting and needless drama

    Tears me up every time.

Are you an 80's kid, Kristy..?

Imagine the trauma of 60's kids... their parents took them or dropped them off at a Monkees concert in 1967 and learned of the Jimi Hendrix Experience was the opening act... BTW we all turned out just fine... with a mild case of manic depression... Scuse me while I kiss the sky... LOL
