The 'COS told me the other day how impressed he was back in the day at the US festival when DAVE broke into a few bars of Ray Charles "The Nighttime is the Right TIme" backstage (TRUE STORY).....

I checked an old Boot LP I have of the US festival, and pre-show interviews..and I'LL BE DANGED...IT WAS ON THERE!!!

Actually, Wil also met up with Dave backstage in 1991. Dave sang him a few bars of BIG BAD WIL IS SWEET WILFRED NOW. Apparently, it moved Wil to tears.
