A Question for the conservatives

For those who support the war in Iraq, I am just curious with the death of American Soliders and thousands of Civilians do you still think it was worth it and if so why? What has been the net benefit of it? If you were able to turn back the clock would you have still went there?

I'm against the war, but I think it's obvious they still would have gone in.

Would they have planned it much differently? You bet.

Would they not have been so ideological in their what I honestly believe was a sincere belief, that the Iraqi people would line the streets with flowers for our troops? Easily.

Would they have not alienated so many vets and current members of the armed services by going in under false premises? YES.

I don't ever hear about the thousands of lives lost everyday right here at home (usa) yet I keep hearing about the 3000+ soldiers that have been lost in the Iraq war. This makes absolutely NO sense. When we start cracking down on the criminals for killing thousands and thousands here at home, then I may be more concerned with the 3000 soldiers we've lost.

Next: We have a duty as human beings to protect each other everywhere in the world...period.

Next: If we were suppressed the way the middle east is, we would ALL be begging someone like Bush and Blaire to step in and protect us, providing us the ultimate opportunity for democracy.

Lastly: We all need to get out of this "point and click" mentallity, meaning not everything happens at the snap of a finger. The results of this war will be great, the work will be hard. Get over it. That's life.
