They ran that fucking ad multiple times during every football game on the air in October. Probably ran it elsewhere too, but football is pretty much the only time I subject myself to commercials anymore. And if I can catch a football game on a bootleg Canadian stream - avoiding both political and big pharma ads - even better.

First time I saw the ad I thought it was a bad SNL skit. Can't imagine what sort of moron could take it seriously, but apparently they did.

That Fox TV guy is Pete Hegseth. He’s the only member of Trump’s cabinet picks that is not a career politician. Now the Trumpettes can say “see Trump is draining the swamp!” But ignore that Trump’s other picks are from the swamp.

I never heard of Pete Hegseth, so a quick google gives me enough information, albeit an opinion piece from a left leaning site:

Some of the cabinet choices are not the typical people that have been a part of the status quo Washington elite. I think that's a good thing and why not bring in new ideas and different points of view. The same old shit hasn't been working on either side of the aisle...

Interesting rumors and speculation. RFK Jr has supposedly said he'd go after the pharma TV ads. Some of the YouTubers I watch that focus on Disney and other media companies have speculated that this would cut into ad revenue for the late night shows. I don't watch any of them so I don't know how many pharma ads run after 1130 pm. NBC had already slashed the budgets for their late night shows and Kimmel and Fallon have gone to four day weeks with a repeat on Friday. Also speculation that when the host's contracts are up that they may not be renewed, but I can't see NBC abandoning the Tonight Show. Kimmel, maybe.

Kimmel cried his first show after the election. One of the YouTubers noted that while Letterman leans liberal, he wouldn't have cried on air. I don't think he did his first show back after 9/11. Much different circumstance though.

Legacy media got their ass handed to them over this election. CNN is letting people go and Comcast is considering selling their cable networks (including MSNBC) off. ABC is considering adding a more right-leaning host to the View. Going to be interesting watching all this play out.

Both of those had been in the pipeline for some time.Concast had been losing money for years and now more than ever for their ignorance to embrace fiber optic while tacking on more and more bullshit fees. Much like the music industry they thought that cable TV would never change and that subscribers would continue to put up with bad service with continued price hikes. Concast ran itself like a Mafia organization. They bullied out other tier package providers, lobbied for bullshit zoning laws so that no one else could bury cable next to theirs, skirted environmental laws and extorted customers that late payments could result in jail time.


As for worm brain dipshit gooner going after Big-Pharma ads, that's not going to happen. Big-Pharma is a multi-billion dollar industry who are also the biggest Washington lobbyist who made a lot of Republicans a lot of fucking money.

Like I said, Trump's second term won't last long. If not from orange F A T T Y 's rapidly declining mental state than it will be all the in-fighting from all the grifters who al want nothing more than to bankrupt this country.
