However, in my former great state of Colorado - until all these F A T fucking Texans and Californians literally destroyed the place is that I do take some solace in the fact that at least Colorado Dems had a great election, even if CODems seemed to often buck trends (or often go with the flow if it's a good trend) since the olden days. Dems did very well in local and even municipal elections, including winning very competitive races I expected some to lose (Bob Marshall for example, I like the guy and his win felt very deserved). Another bright spot was the heavy Latino support for Dems in Colorado, a trend sadly not seen nationally. Lastly, the local GOP is comically bad at the one job they have: campaign so people can vote for them and they never listened to the Puke Yugers to guide them.
MAGAS will fuck this country up beyond belief. As I said, I cannot wait for this to happen. The faggy MAGA bubble with their media landscape consisting of Fox News, Social Media & Podcasts is insufficient for us to live in the "reality bubble", but I don't have a magic solution. We'll have to do the slog of communication and "I told you so". NATO will be gone as will Social Security, education, worker's rights, reproductive rights, while becoming a more of a pro-RuZZia state, raising tariff-taxes on imported goods, lowering taxes on the rich. This will explode the deficit, and lead to inflation and dramatically higher interest rates.
